Harish Krishnaswamy

Harish joined Domain in 2012 and became an Associate in 2015.   Harish reviews new investment opportunities and helps portfolio companies with business development strategies.  He has also been involved with academic technology spinouts and new company creation.  Harish currently serves as an observer on the boards of Celtaxsys, ChromaCode, Sebacia and WindMIL Therapeutics.

My passion for healthcare innovation led me to pursue venture capital because there is no better joy than bringing an idea to life and creating a beneficial impact on the lives of people.

Prior to joining Domain, Harish was a graduate student at the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. During the MBA program, he interned as an associate consultant at Simon-Kucher & Partners and advised a Fortune 500 company on competitive defense strategies for a $1+ billion pharmaceutical product.

Prior to his MBA, Harish spent six years at St. Jude Medical as part of the cardiac rhythm management group in various cross-functional leadership roles. Through his involvement in product innovation at St. Jude Medical, Harish has been awarded several patents in the field of cardiac ischemia monitoring with implantable defibrillators and pacemakers. While at Johns Hopkins, he spent time researching novel concepts, most notably on a collaborative project with Siemens Medical aimed to develop new methods to detect liver lesions with the use of 3D ultrasound imaging.

Harish earned his BSE in biomedical engineering with a concentration in computer science from Johns Hopkins University and his MBA from Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley.
